, located in a mid-sized metropolitan area, is seeking a full-time Research Assistant Professor to assist the department teach topics related to health economics, community health systems, and community health outcomes to medical students, residents and fellows in lectures, seminars or small group learning experiences.
Develop a collaborative research program with the Director of the Center for Outcomes Research and the Directors of the Pulmonary-Critical-Care and Cardiovascular Fellowship Training program that leads to extramural research funding and peer-reviewed publications.
Provide assistance in the development of research projects for physician-fellows training in the Pulmonary-Critical-Care and Cardiovascular Fellowship programs and support and develop the research and scholarly activities of the Department of Medicine.
Serve on appropriate education committees in the College of Medicine and perform departmental service and administrative duties as assigned.Requirements are a PhD degree or its foreign equivalent in Health Economics, Health Sciences, Medical Science, Economics, or related field of study.
